By switching to interactive video sessions, if needed, all of our machine learning courses will start as planned–independent of the Corona crisis–, and we even added an additional course!
Besides the courses Einführung in Data Science und maschinelles Lernen mit R (only in German) and Machine Learning With TensorFlow, we now have for the first time the course Deep Learning in our program.
The course is based on the first three courses of the online Coursera Specialization Deep Learning provided by deeplearning.ai. The instructor of the course is Andrew Ng, co-founder of Coursera, founding lead of the Google Brain Team, and professor in computer science at Stanford University.
Your mentor in the weeekly classes will be Luca Palmieri, who is currently finishing his doctoral degree in computer science at the CAU Kiel.
The course will provide you with a more in-depth introduction to machine learning and deep learning, teach you about computer vision using convolutional neural networks, natural language processing, and how to solve time series and forecasting problems. You will then apply the newly aquired knowledge to implement your own machine learning project in a team.

Independent of the current Corona crisis all machine learning courses will start as planned. If the classes cannot be conducted in presence, they will be conducted via interactive video streaming sessions.
